Spa Treatments
The Turkish hammam scrub and a fully priced 97-service menu define this spa. Only 3 of the 10 Miami spa hotels we have rated offer a hammam at all, and the K.I.S.S. ritual wraps it with massage. Guests describe the hammam often and warmly, and the reviews of treatments read well. Acupuncture, CranioSacral and health services run alongside at menu prices, so the depth is real, not cosmetic.
Spa Facilities
The hydrotherapy circuit runs seven hot-and-cold stations in one co-ed loop, free to every hotel guest. Five of the six classic wet rooms (sauna, steam, hammam, hot tub and cold water) are here, as many as any spa hotel we have rated, where the typical hotel has three. Staff at The Standard earn praise far more often than complaint, and the few gripes do not cluster into any clear pattern. Sixty-four reviews name Gustavo, a massage therapist, alongside Jacob, each spanning more than a year of reviews: a long-running bench, not a single good season. Guests write about the spa team and the front-of-house staff, and the numbers back it: 948 praising reviews against 47 complaints.

Who’s Right, Who’s Wrong
Right for spa-first adults who treat the room as a locker and move between the hammam, the sauna and the plunge all day, with classes, paddleboards and e-bikes already inside the fee. Right for couples and solos. Wrong for children, since this is an adults-only stay (18 to stay, 21 to check in). Wrong for the room-first traveler, because the rooms run small and dated, and wrong for beach people: these are Biscayne Bay views, not ocean. Book the circuit, treat the room as where you sleep, and the trade reads well.

When to Book the The Standard Spa
February runs the dearest month, July and August the cheapest, and a peak night costs about twice a typical summer night. Where weekends are priced, Friday and Saturday run about a third above Tuesday and Wednesday. Weekend winter nights rarely appear for sale, so compare midweek stays from November to May. Hours at the spa stay the same all week and the menu carries no weekend surcharge.
