Corrections & Updates Policy
Last Updated: August 6, 2026
Every score and fact we publish is built from documented research, and some of it will still be wrong or go stale. Hotels renovate, fees rise, spas change their menus. This page states what we do about it.
Spot an Error? Report It
Email: info@spahotelfinder.com with “Correction” in the subject line. Tell us the page, the claim you believe is wrong, and, if you have it, the evidence. We acknowledge every correction report within five business days.
This inbox is for factual errors: a wrong price, a facility we list that does not exist, an outdated policy, a misattributed award. Differences of opinion about a score are welcome feedback, but scores change only when the underlying facts do.
If You Represent the Property
We hold every hotel to the same standard, and we would rather be corrected by the source than stay wrong. Spa directors, managers, and press contacts can use the same address; facts confirmed directly by the property outrank third-party listings in our research and are credited in the review footer (“Facts confirmed by [role] by email, [Month Year]”).
We do not accept payment, hosted stays, or any other consideration in exchange for coverage or score changes.
How Corrections Are Disclosed
Corrections happen on the review itself, not quietly. Every material change is logged in the review’s update block, the note above the review footer:
- Updates are facts that changed in the real world: “resort fee up from $39 to $45.” Hotel sites rarely publish what got worse; our update blocks do.
- Corrections are errors that were ours, and they say so, prefixed “Correction:” with the wrong and the right value stated plainly.
The “Last updated” date on each review moves only when its facts are re-verified or changed, and the page’s structured data mirrors that visible date. Reviews are re-verified on a maximum 12-month cycle; substantial changes get their own “What Changed at [Hotel]” section.
Who Is Accountable
Spa Hotel Finder is published by Blue Astoria Media Group. Editorial responsibility for every review, score, and correction sits with James Sinclair, Editor. How we research and score is documented in How SpaRator Works and our Editorial Code.
