Spa Hotels in Sedona

Mii amo leads Sedona at 8.6, its heat rooms included in every stay. Admission separates the rest: Enchantment reaches the same heat rooms only on a treatment day. The ranking is independent, James Sinclair's, and no hotel pays for placement.

Five Sedona Spa Hotels: Heat and Admission

All five Sedona spa hotels list a heat element and none lists a cold one. Mii amo leads the market at 8.6 with the sauna, steam room and whirlpool its own page names, included in every stay. Enchantment Resort follows at 7.5 and borrows the same three only on a treatment day. The Wilde Resort & Spa scores 7.2 with steam and hot tubs, Ambiente 6.9 with one sauna, and L'Auberge de Sedona 6.2 with a steam room for women and a steam shower for men; the median across the five runs 7.2.

Three areas anchor the market. Boynton Canyon holds Mii amo and Enchantment, the spa-first pair. Uptown and Oak Creek is L'Auberge alone for the creek address, and West State Route 89A pairs The Wilde, the budget spa route, with Ambiente, adults-only at 18 and over.

Admission, not hardware, picks your hotel. Every Mii amo stay includes the heat rooms and no day passes. Enchantment guests need a confirmed service to reach the same three, one hour each way, behind a flat $73.36 untaxed resort fee. L'Auberge gates its steam room to booked treatments. The Wilde sells ResortPass access from $35 and a $100 spa pass adding steam rooms and the relaxation lounge, both dated 10 October 2026. Ambiente credits its sauna before a treatment. None of the five names a cold element, and Mii amo's Journey Plunge Pool temperature is unpublished as of October 2026.

Pole-night drops run 59.6% at L'Auberge, 52.0% at Enchantment, 51.8% at The Wilde, 44.0% at Ambiente and 29.7% at Mii amo, whose figure is an all-inclusive Journey rate. Two peaks split the market, autumn dear at Enchantment and Ambiente and spring dear at L'Auberge, The Wilde and again Ambiente. Enchantment's flat $78.68 nightly fees mean its premium reaches 12.8% on the 17 October 2026 peak and 20.8% on the 9 January 2027 low. The Wilde's flat fee runs 20.6% and 29.7%, while L'Auberge's 10% fee stays 25.3% in every season and Ambiente adds only 13.9% tax.

Getting here is a car decision. Phoenix Sky Harbor sits about two hours by road by Enchantment, Mii amo and L'Auberge's own count, and L'Auberge states it has no airport shuttle. Groome's shared shuttle is the only Phoenix airport service, from $89 per adult one way with advance booking. Read the hydrotherapy guide before you choose, because it explains what a heat-only set can and cannot do. Five hotels are listed below, each with its heat, its admission rule and its dated all-in price.

Boynton Canyon

Mii amo

Boynton Canyon holds two hotels on one 70-acre site. Mii amo (8.6) is the hero: every stay is an all-inclusive Journey with three meals a day, a $265 daily spa credit per person, classes, consultations and gratuities, sold only through its own website, guests 16 and over. Its booking-engine all-inclusive Journey price for two adults runs $3,528 on 7 October 2027 and $2,480 on 19 August 2027. What it lacks is a stated cold element: the Journey Plunge Pool has no published temperature as of October 2026. Enchantment Resort (7.5) shares the address but owns no spa. Its guests reach Mii amo's sauna, steam room and whirlpool only on a treatment day, one hour either side, behind a $73.36 untaxed resort fee. Suits destination-spa guests who will pay the all-inclusive rate and use the heat rooms. Suits Enchantment guests wanting a canyon base that borrows a gated spa.

Uptown and Oak Creek

L'Auberge de Sedona

Uptown and Oak Creek holds one hotel, L'Auberge de Sedona (6.2), on Oak Creek with a steam room for women, a steam shower for men, a heated pool and hot tubs, and no sauna or cold element listed. Creekside is the draw, not the circuit: a 10% resort fee is taxed with the room at 13.9%, so its 25.3% premium never changes, and valet adds $35 a night. Spa treatments carry an automatic 20% gratuity, and the cheapest 60-minute massage of the five runs $200. Off-season saves the most here: a 23 January 2027 night runs 59.6% below the 15 May 2027 peak. Suits travelers who want the creek setting, not the spa.

West State Route 89A

The Wilde Resort & Spa

West State Route 89A's top score is The Wilde Resort & Spa (7.2), and Ambiente is the pair's no-resort-fee half. Its Wilde Haven Spa, 9 treatment rooms and 5,000 square feet per the hotel's release, has a steam room, outdoor hot tubs and a heated pool, plus the 60-minute Quiet Haven at $220. No cold element listed. Access is the flexible part: a ResortPass Day Pass starts at $35, and a Spa Pass plus Day Pass from $100 on 10 October 2026. A flat $40.80 resort fee plus $4.53 a night is the catch. The Wilde carries the lowest peak of the five: $748 all-in, 13 March 2027, typical booking-site rate, fee included, plus tax. Ambiente (6.9) is adults-only at 18 and over, charges no resort fee and no parking, and gives a sauna with a treatment, but no on-site gym and the dearest room-rate peak night. Suits adults-first stays and budget spa access.

Sedona Spa Hotel FAQs

Which Sedona Spa Hotel Is Best?

Mii amo leads Sedona at 8.6, and it is the one hotel where spa access comes with every stay: every stay is an all-inclusive Journey with meals, a $265 daily spa credit and gratuities included, plus a sauna, steam room and whirlpool you can use freely. Enchantment Resort follows at 7.5 and borrows that spa behind a booked treatment. The Wilde Resort & Spa (7.2) is the budget route to steam and hot tubs. Ambiente (6.9) is adults-only and room-first with one sauna. L'Auberge de Sedona (6.2) sits on Oak Creek. Choose Mii amo for the spa, The Wilde for price, Enchantment for a canyon base.

What Do Enchantment Resort Guests Get at Mii amo?

Enchantment Resort has no spa of its own, but its guests book the same Mii amo menu on the one shared 70-acre site. Every day, guests 16 and over reach the Fitness and Movement studios, Hummingbird dining by reservation, the Crystal Grotto rituals, the Juice Bar and the Boutique. With a confirmed Mii amo service, they add the Living Room, pool, sauna, whirlpool and steam room for one hour before and one hour after that service. They never get the Journey lounges or the Journey Plunge Pool, which stay with Mii amo's own Journey guests. There is no day pass, and a $73.36 resort fee applies nightly, plus 20% gratuity on spa services.

Where Should I Stay in Sedona?

Sedona splits into three areas, and each one makes a different stay. Boynton Canyon, about 8 miles and 15 minutes from Uptown, holds Mii amo and Enchantment Resort, the top two spa addresses on one shared canyon site. Uptown and Oak Creek is L'Auberge de Sedona alone: a steam room, a heated pool and hot tubs, with no sauna listed and no cold element listed. West State Route 89A pairs The Wilde Resort & Spa and Ambiente, the two hotels with no resort fee (Ambiente) or the lowest peak rate (The Wilde). Choose Boynton Canyon for the destination spa, Uptown for the address, and West 89A for adults-only calm or a budget spa route.

Does Any Sedona Hotel Have a Hot-And-Cold Circuit?

No. All five list a heat element and none lists a cold one. Mii amo offers a sauna, steam room and whirlpool. Enchantment Resort the same three on a treatment day. L'Auberge de Sedona a steam room. Ambiente a sauna. The Wilde Resort & Spa a steam room and hot tubs. Mii amo's Journey Plunge Pool has no published temperature as of October 2026, so it cannot be counted as cold. Sedona's ceiling is a strong heat suite, not a full hydrotherapy circuit. If that distinction matters to your booking, read the guide before paying a premium.

Can I Use a Sedona Hotel Spa Without Staying?

Mii amo sells no day passes: its treatments and thermal rooms are for registered Journey guests and Enchantment Resort overnight guests only, and Enchantment itself publishes no day pass. The Wilde Resort & Spa is the priced exception, listing a ResortPass Day Pass from $35 for the heated pool and hot tubs and a Spa Pass plus Day Pass from $100 adding steam rooms, a soaking tub and the relaxation lounge, both as of 10 October 2026. Ambiente takes outside guests for individually booked treatments but publishes no day pass. L'Auberge de Sedona sells a ResortPass pool pass with no published price. For a non-guest spa day, The Wilde is the only route with a printed figure.

What Do Treatments Cost, and Is Gratuity Added?

A 60-minute massage runs $200 at L'Auberge de Sedona, $210 at Ambiente, $220 at The Wilde Resort & Spa, and $265 at Mii amo (the same menu Enchantment Resort guests book). Gratuity is the real add-on: 20% is automatic at Mii amo for standalone treatments, at Enchantment and at L'Auberge, and a 22% service charge at Ambiente. Mii amo's Journey stays include gratuities. Ambiente's $210 massage becomes $256.20 at the till. For choosing between massage styles, see the massage guide, which lays out the differences.

What Are the Resort Fees and Taxes in Sedona?

Sedona's five hotels run five different tax lines. Enchantment Resort charges $73.36 plus a $5.32 assessment, both untaxed, with 6.325% county tax on the room only. The Wilde Resort & Spa is $40.80 plus $4.53, both untaxed, with 13.325% on the room. L'Auberge de Sedona charges 10% of the room rate, taxed at 13.9% with the room, plus a $5 assessment. Ambiente has no resort fee and 13.9% tax on the room. Mii amo also has no resort fee, with its Journey cart showing room tax of 1.56% to 2.98% and a flat destination assessment. Because the flat fees never scale, the premium is worst on the cheap nights.

When Is the Best Time to Visit Sedona for Spa Rates?

Sedona has two peaks, not one. Autumn is dear at Enchantment Resort and Ambiente, and spring is dear at L'Auberge de Sedona, The Wilde Resort & Spa and Ambiente. Cheapest windows run December to February at Enchantment and L'Auberge, December at The Wilde, and June or July at Ambiente, with August in Mii amo's sample. Pole-night drops run 59.6% at L'Auberge, 52.0% at Enchantment, 51.8% at The Wilde, 44.0% at Ambiente and 29.7% at Mii amo, whose nightly figure is all-inclusive. As of October 2026, the Pocket Fire burned from 19 June to 30 July 2026 and a flood warning on 15 August 2026 named Oak Creek and Munds Park.

Which Airport Serves Sedona, and Do I Need a Car?

Phoenix Sky Harbor sits about two hours by road from Enchantment Resort, Mii amo and L'Auberge de Sedona, and L'Auberge states it has no airport shuttle. Groome sells a shared shuttle from $89 per adult one way with advance booking, the only airport service from Phoenix. Ambiente runs a complimentary Lexus shuttle to Sedona Airport and local attractions, not Phoenix, with complimentary valet. Enchantment warns ride-share may not be readily available. Parking is free at The Wilde Resort & Spa and Mii amo, in Enchantment's fee, complimentary valet at Ambiente, and valet $35 a night at L'Auberge. Rent a car. Groome's shared shuttle is the only no-car route.

Are Sedona’s Vortex and Alternative Wellness Offers Worth Booking?

Mii amo concentrates Sedona's alternative menu: Reiki, sound baths, hypnosis, past-life regression, astrology, Medicine Wheel and full-moon ceremonies, with a 60-minute Swedish at $265. Mii amo's Reiki sessions are bookable on its published treatment menu. Enchantment Resort folds a Vortex Lecture into its resort fee on Sundays and Thursdays. The Wilde Resort & Spa lists yoga, sound baths, Qigong, meditation and guided walks, with schedule and inclusion unpublished. If you are booking specifically for Reiki, read the Reiki guide before committing.

Which Sedona Spa Hotel Fits Families, Couples and Adults-Only Travelers?

Only Ambiente is fully adults-only at 18 and over, and Mii amo sets its age floor at 16 and over. Enchantment Resort runs Camp Coyote but has no kids club, making it the family base. Enchantment and Mii amo add $65 per person to duet bookings. L'Auberge de Sedona prices a 60-minute couples massage at $400 to $440 for two. The Wilde Resort & Spa runs $440 for 60 minutes or $640 for 90. Ambiente sells couples rituals per person from $210 to $425.

Which Sedona Spa Hotel Is Cheapest, and Which Is Best Value?

The Wilde Resort & Spa carries the lowest peak at $748 all-in for Saturday 13 March 2027, typical booking-site rate, fee included, plus tax, and $360 all-in on Saturday 21 August 2027, with the 60-minute Quiet Haven at $220. Ambiente and Mii amo charge no resort fee: Ambiente's July all-in is $1,331 on Saturday 17 July 2027, Google headline room price plus 13.9% tax, while Mii amo's Journey at $2,480 on Thursday 19 August 2027 for two adults, the hotel's booking-engine price, is all-inclusive with meals, a $265 daily spa credit and gratuities. L'Auberge de Sedona has the cheapest massage at $200 and the widest drop, but its 10% fee adds 25.3%. For a room-rate budget, The Wilde is the pick. Mii amo is the all-inclusive value.
