The Canyon Suites at The Phoenician

Canyon Suites is a separate wing on The Phoenician's grounds at 6000 E Camelback Road, at the base of Camelback Mountain, roughly 9 miles and 20 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor. Old Town Scottsdale is a five-minute drive. There is no airport shuttle, but the resort fee includes a chauffeured Mercedes to Scottsdale Fashion Square for two.

Same 250 acres, different operation. Canyon Suites runs 60 accommodations and 8 villas with a private entrance, its own pool, complimentary daily breakfast, and Canyon Ambassadors who handle the stay end to end. It also runs its own $65 resort fee, which bundles valet and the Mercedes shuttle; the main Phoenician charges $55 and bundles neither. The spa, golf, tennis, and restaurants are shared.

No. Spa facilities, including the rooftop pool and thermal circuit, are reserved for guests receiving a facial, massage, body treatment, or a combined manicure and pedicure. Your reliable adults-only options are the spa's rooftop pool, which requires a qualifying treatment, and the 18-plus Mother-of-Pearl pool in the main complex.

A self-guided hydrotherapy sequence the spa recommends before every treatment: five minutes of dry sauna, five of eucalyptus steam, a 30-second cold shower, five minutes of rest, ten minutes in the vitality hot tub, a 30-second cool shower, then five to ten minutes of rest. It runs about half an hour; arrive 15 minutes early to fit it in.

Massages start at $225 for 50 minutes and facials at $235, rising to $410 for an 80-minute Hydrafacial, with peak pricing Friday through Sunday and holidays (last published card, October 2022; ResortPass lists the same floors in 2026).
