Tiburón is an inland golf resort with two Greg Norman courses and the Reservoir's lazy river. The $60 nightly fee covers the water park, bikes and the shuttle to the sister resort, but not spa access. Spa Treatments
Tiburón's three-room Massage and Facial Center publishes no menu or prices, so a full menu means a shuttle to the sister resort. Three rooms were last stated in May 2026, now removed. Across the 60 other spa hotels we have priced, the typical massage is $225. Tiburón gives no figure to set beside it. No recent TripAdvisor guest describes a treatment at either spa. The sister's menu names 50- and 80-minute formats and a signature Gulf Stone Massage, but prints no prices.
Spa Facilities
Nothing wet or thermal sits inside Tiburón's spa, and the circuit is a shuttle ride away, open only with a booked treatment. The sister spa is 3.0 miles away, and the shuttle is in the fee. Of the 21 other spa hotels we have checked, 8 have a cold plunge or ice room on site. A December 2024 TripAdvisor guest said a shuttle runs "every hour," but the hotel publishes no timetable and no recent guest describes using the circuit. The missing timetable means planning around the shuttle.
Wellness Programs
Ritz-Carlton Tiburón's wellness is recreation, two championship golf courses and the Reservoir water park, with no class schedule published. The two courses are Greg Norman designs, and a December 2024 TripAdvisor guest praised a state-of-the-art fitness center "with spa offerings". The typical spa hotel we have rated includes about one class a week, across 47 hotels; Tiburón lists none. The fee covers driving-range access, the Reservoir and bikes, not the courses themselves, so course play is extra. Plan days around golf and the Reservoir, because no class will fill them.
Staff & Service
Staff at Ritz-Carlton Tiburón draw more praise than complaint, but recovery from problems and warning guests about the works are uneven. Praise outweighs complaint 25 to 7 on TripAdvisor stays. Six of 34 stays lead with a service failure, more than any of the 21 other spa hotels we measure. In June 2026 a guest wrote that Costel, the night manager, went to a store at 1 a.m. for a sick child's medicine. Four guests found recovery weak, and four said the works were not announced in advance.

Guests at Ritz-Carlton Tiburón rate stays below the typical spa hotel, and stays during the renovation rate lower still. The past two years read 3.97 across 34 stays. The typical score among the 21 other spa hotels we compare on recent reviews is 4.48, and 19 of the 21 sit higher. Nine recent stays fell during the works and average 3.22. An August 2026 guest called it "a construction project disguised as a hotel." Restaurants were still listed as opening in October 2026, so completion was unconfirmed.
Value for Money
Ritz-Carlton Tiburón's $60 fee buys the water park and the shuttle but not the spa, and no treatment price is published. Our 27 Feb 2027 check: $1,475.19 all-in for the cheapest public flexible room, fee and tax included. Fees and tax add 16.2% here, lighter than most of 55 others, typical 19.6%. Four of 34 stays name value as a complaint. A December 2025 guest called it "exceptionally overpriced for what it is today." Budget the spa on top, because no treatment can be costed before you arrive.

Tiburón suits golfers and families who want two Greg Norman courses, the water park and a shuttle to a Naples beach, and who treat the spa as an add-on. It is wrong for a spa break, wrong for a beachfront stay, and wrong for anyone who needs the renovation finished. It is a very good golf resort that happens to have a small spa next to a real one.
Where It Sits in the Naples Market
Tiburón sits inland while its spa story is owned by The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, the market benchmark with 32 treatment rooms and a five-element circuit gated behind a treatment or membership: the spa Tiburón guests reach by shuttle. Naples resort fees typically run $54 a night (range $45 to $75). Tiburón’s $60 is above that, and six of the nine others charge less. Naples Beach Club charges $75 but its circuit is open to in-house guests. A typical year-round night at the sister runs about 1.5 times Tiburón’s. JW Marriott Marco Island is another circuit-led alternative.

Yes for golfers and families: a typical all-in night runs $820 to $1,480 (middle $1,053) for the entry room across mainstream sellers with resort fee and tax included. That buys two courses, the Reservoir and a beach shuttle. No for spa-first guests: the fee excludes spa access, and the sister circuit needs a booked treatment.
