Opal Spa at Opal Sol pairs a fairly priced Yon-Ka Paris menu with guest ratings of 4.8 on TripAdvisor and 4.7 on Google. Its pool and hot tub are open to all resort guests without a treatment. A 60-minute massage costs $165 before the 20% charge ($198 with it), and fewer than three major booking sites price about half the sampled nights, so treat the room figures as approximate.
Spa Treatments
The Opal Spa menu is full enough to plan a stay around, from a quick massage to a long ritual. Massages run 30 to 120 minutes, and the list spans facials, body treatments and 90- to 120-minute journeys built on Yon-Ka Paris products, with couples versions of the main services. Forty-seven of the 53 guests who wrote about the spa rated their stay four or five stars.
Spa Facilities
The spa-side pool and hot tub overlook the Intracoastal Waterway and are open to every resort guest without a treatment. Six guests describe using them that way. The main deck adds two Gulf-facing pools and a hot tub, and the skybridge opens four pools across both resorts. The spa provides a robe and sandals, and it also admits guests 16 and over.
Wellness Programs
The $35 resort fee covers a fitness center with Peloton bikes and two bicycles a day. Treadmills, strength equipment and cross trainers fill out the gym floor. One of the two fitness centers sits in the Opal Sol tower and the other is at the sister resort. The two bicycles a day, included in the resort fee, add open recreation beyond the gym.

Guests praise the staff far more often than they complain. The same named staff come up across more than a year of reviews. In the written record, 529 guests praise the staff and 59 complain. The largest complaint theme is the front desk, at 20 of the 855 written reviews. Management answers nearly every TripAdvisor review, and it also answers nearly every Google review.

Opal Spa at Opal Sol shares one menu with a second Opal Spa at Opal Sands across the skybridge. Both spas offer the same treatment menu, products and service, with the same daily 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. hours, the same age rule for guests 16 and over, and the same 20% service charge on every service. A few lines differ by location: the In the Clouds Ritual is $175 here and $165 across the skybridge, and this side alone lists the Couples 90-Min Pain Relief at $255 per guest and the Floral Harmony Ritual, a 120-minute seasonal service.
Who’s Right, Who’s Wrong
Book Opal Sol if you want an all-suite resort with private balconies, a Yon-Ka Paris spa menu, and a pool and hot tub open to every guest. Book elsewhere if the spa is the trip: the wet side is the pool and hot tub, so a guest who wants a thermal circuit should look elsewhere, and the beach means a street crossing.

Opal Sol’s 60-minute massage runs level with Sandpearl Resort at $165, and 13 of the 19 Florida spa hotels whose menus we hold charge more.
